In January 2021, we welcomed Marian Riordan as our PGA Specialised Golf Professional and Golf Operations Manager to the dynamic team here at Dundrum House Hotel. Her impressive background and numerous accolades unquestionably position her as a valued asset to our team. Her unwavering passion for golf, coupled with her dedication to teaching and professional excellence, elevates the experience for both our valued members and cherished visitors at the club.

Marian's journey in the world of golf is marked by distinction. She has proudly represented Ireland, demonstrating her exceptional skills in both National and International events. Representing her country on numerous occasions with the pinnacle of her amateur career reached when she secured the prestigious title of Ireland's number one Amateur golfer, a remarkable feat that set the stage for her transition into the professional ranks.

In 2007, Marian took a big step by becoming a professional golfer. Over the next three years, she competed professionally on the Ladies European Tour. During this time, she improved her knowledge of the game and gained valuable experience as a professional golfer on tour.

Marian's skills are not limited to golf. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Studies Recreation and Leisure from Waterford Institute of Technology, demonstrating her dedication to education. Additionally, she earned a Higher Diploma in Education from UCD, showing her commitment to improving her teaching abilities.

Fueled by her passion for golf, Marian made a proactive choice to further her career by enrolling in the PGA Professional Foundation Degree Programme at the prestigious University of Birmingham. It was during this transformative program that she not only fine-tuned her teaching skills but also discovered her passion for teaching and working within the golf industry.

Colin's journey with the golf team began in November 2022, and he swiftly became an integral part of the group. His proficiency in the day-to-day operations of running a golf shop is supreme, thanks to his extensive experience accumulated over the past seven years as the PGA assistant at both Cahir and Clonmel Golf Clubs.

His most recent stretch at Beech Park Golf Club in County Dublin ignited his passion for Club Fitting and teaching. Colin's greatest joy lies in witnessing his players' progress and their enhanced enjoyment of the game of golf.

In January 2023, Colin reached a major milestone by successfully completing his PGA training with the University of Bermingham. He maintains his competitive spirit as he continues to participate in competitions within the Irish PGA region.

Beyond his golfing prowess, Colin is a genuinely exceptional individual, rich in knowledge, and always ready to assist all our members and visitors at Dundrum Golf Club.
