Paul and I would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for a wonderful wedding on the 25th of October 2014. As couple we spent a long time planning the day and thanks to all of you it was perfect. From the time we arrived on the Friday at reception to our departure everyone we met was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Many of our guests commented on this fact during their stay in Dundrum House. On a more personal note I would like to express my gratitude to the waitress who served my family in the Golf Club Venue Bar on the Friday evening. Seven hyper children are hard to deal with yet she managed it with great ease and a smile on her face. All the staff that waited tables at our wedding were fantastic, guests were delighted with the extra portions (and some with the extra wine!). Many people have since remarked on the quality and presentation of food served out on the evening, it was to an extremely high standard and an absolute credit to all the kitchen staff. Thank you so very much. Kathleen, the cake was remarkable and just delicious. Lastly Deirdre, from the initial booking you took us under your wing and guided us through a long process. It has been a pleasure to deal with you for the last year and a half. Your warm enthusiastic smile was infectious and nothing was too much bother, our sincerest gratitude to you. Wishing All the Staff in Dundrum House, health and happiness for the future.

We had our wedding in Dundrum House on 20th June and couldn't have imagined a better setting. The hotel itself is gorgeous, with original architectural features and original furniture. The grounds and golf course are also beautiful and the whole place provide the perfect backdrop for wedding photos. We can't praise Deirdre and her staff highly enough - anything we wanted, they did for us. Deirdre is an expert at her work and kept the day flowing calmly for us. She was never too far away if we had any questions, both in the lead up to the wedding and on the day. She really does put you at ease. The food in Dundrum House is second to none - the amount of compliments from our guests was outstanding. The bacon rolls at 3am in the residents bar got several special mentions! The accommodation itself is also fantastic - huge bedrooms and bathrooms. The bridal suite itself was massive, with a gorgeous four-poster bed and jacuzzi bath. I would highly recommend this hotel to any couple thinking of getting married in the Munster region. You will NOT be disappointed.

Dundrum House Hotel was host to our wedding last Thursday. We wanted something extraordinary as this location wasn't your usual destination for our local area for weddings. I wanted our guests to experience change and wanted to leave a very lasting impression of our special day. But I am overwhelmed with the response, the compliments, about the quality of this hotel as feedback from our guests. Deirdre Crowe, the wedding co-ordinator is now considered a dear friend following her unconditional support during the planning stage. She must have cloned herself on the day of the wedding as everyone seemed to meet her and she attended to everyones needs! The location meant that people travelling from Cork were able to use the bypass safely therefore no danger on unfamiliar country roads. We had our pictures taken on the magnificent grounds, so we didn't miss out on time with our guests. The accommodation rates agreed for our guests offered excellent value unlimited also!! Which meant the celebrations weren't drawn to a halt when guests left. This is just the basic's. The food was out of this world, no cutting corners with dessert miniatures, plates were extremely generous. Each course was superb. The rooms were so comfortable and huge!! That was all I heard about the next morning. Breakfast was due to end at 10 am but guests were still being served after 11 yet no member of staff seemed put out by our tardiness! Every single member of staff had a smile and couldn't do enough for us. I heard of one girl actually went to the clubhouse to buy cigarettes for one of our guests and insisted on doing so!! All these small touches, did come back to us which separates this hotel from all the others. No other hotel could match the warmth, excellent service, quality of food that all of our guests received. In fact, some of our guests enjoyed a round of golf the morning after, others went for a swim!! As a bride, Deirdre settled my nerves with her cool and calm exterior by saying 'we'll do that'!! And everything was flawless!! Deirdre, her staff and this hotel eternally will hold a very special place for us. I cannot wait to go back for a visit after our honeymoon, just to escape and relax. HIGHLY recommended.

We had our wedding in Dundrum house on saturday 8th March (yes just 3 days ago) and i had to write the review straight away as im still buzzing from the place and the whole thing! I didn't make a wedding speech so be prepared this could be it! no seriously like i was pretty stressed in the run up to the wedding but literally the minute we arrived to the hotel on the thursday before it, all that vanished as we were greeted by the lovely Sandra on reception and Deirdre our FANTASTIC Wedding coordinator (what a hero she is like, works ROUND the clock!!) anyways everything from the friendly welcome, the fab HUGE rooms, the gorgeous surrounding grounds, the food in both the hotel and the Golf club bar, the golf course, its like a home away from home.. but home was never that good ! :) The reception rooms that we arrived in to after the church were just buzzing and so so pretty, the cosy little bar with the stained glass windows is perfect.the warmth and atmosphere of the whole place was just really special to me and my husband! :) our nieces and nephews had a ball as there was so much space for them to play around there parents were delighted to let them off! On to our wedding meal! It was just amazing, we have had so many people comment on the meal that it was the nicest they ever had at a wedding and i have to agree whole heartedly! finally i just want to thank Dolores and Noreen & Sandra on reception, Michael for helping us out with loads of different things, Bart the bar man for putting up with us till the early hours, Phil for sorting out the stragglers at the end of the night. Massive thanks to Margaret for minding everyone in the breakfast room, shes such a sweetheart! Mr Austin Crowe - what a legend and a gentleman! and all the other fantastic staff that i didnt get their names but were all so so so nice and helpful and nothing was a trouble. Im a Rebel myself but have to admit theres something special about the Premier county people! Final Thanks to Deirdre who made the whole thing run like a dream, she truly is one in a million. Ok i sound like im at the oscars now so i'll leave it at that, so just go there and see for yourselves, not just for weddings, it really is Tipperary's Downton Abbey and i cant wait for our next visit.
