It is really important to take protein to feed your muscles after your weights work-out - but there is no need to pay big money to buy whey protein shake mix when you can make your own at home !
2 glasses of milk (skim/low-fat milk, and a decent sized glass)
1/2 cup of non-fat powder milk
1/2 cup of non-fat flavored - vanilla/strawberry etc..yogurt ( from the freezer)
1 egg (I use jumbo size)
Put all that in a blender and whizz it up and enjoy !!!!
