"Very Enjoyable" Scot 13, 26 May 2010 | Couple
I found the hotel to be an oasis, old worldly, good value for money, and a fine Breakfast.
Gym and pool and clean, comfortable rooms, golf just outside. We attended a wedding and the food for the reception was excellent as well.

"Excellent Hotel"  Justoenmedio Toledo 29 Apr 2010 | Couple
Charming, sprawling hotel with real character set in wonderful surroundings. Staff were jovial and friendly and some of the rooms are beautiful. It`s old so you can`t expect all the mod cons but it`s well worth a visit. The golf course is a beaut.

"I look forward to our next visit!"  Ger009 Dublin, Ireland 26 Apr 2010 | Couple
We recently attended a Wedding Reception in Dundrum House Hotel and it was genuinely the best I've ever been to - The meal was fabulous - brilliant choice and lots of it with offers of second helpings and everything was piping hot! The first thing that I noticed about the Hotel was the friendlieness of the Staff - without exception everyone we met had a smile and a friendly word - In Ireland we are a pretty expensive Country and often dont have great weather so it really annoys me to encounter unfriendly Staff, however this was absolutely not the case here - One thing I think must be unique in these days where we hear so much about rip off Ireland was our experience of this hotel and also pubs in Kilcommon that large bottles of mixers are on the counter for Customers to avail of rather than having to purchase an individual bottle with your Spirit - given rounds of drink containing large volumes of vodka and seven up, this gesture made a massive difference to our expenditure over the weekend and I think its a really lovely touch so well done to all concerned - our Room was comfortable, the setting was beautiful and the sun shone - what more could a Visitor ask for? - I look forward to our next visit!

"Friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff....very impressed with Dundrum House" Dear Finula, I cannot thank you and all your staff enough for looking after me and all my guests so brilliantly during my very special three days of celebration. The venue was perfect, the weather was kind and we loved sharing the spacious houses which were serviced beautifully by the cleaning ladies. My guests constantly remarked on and appreciated the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff and were very impressed with Dundrum House, many intending to return at a future date. Please compliment the chefs on the excellent and delicious food, and the waiting staff for their attentive service at breakfast and dinner.Euan was wonderful with all the golfers who enjoyed the course. It was all marvellous for me and having you as the hotel co-ordinator, on every aspect of the week-end, made it very easy to stay on top of all the happenings and to make sure all the details fell into place. It was a pleasure for me to work with you, to bounce ideas off you, to embrace your ideas, and I really appreciate all your running around from crisps and nuts and birthday cake to the beautiful lillies, champagne, chocolates and card in my house to welcome me. A huge BIG thank you for all the obvious and behind the scenes work you did to make my 60th such a memorable, fun, enjoyable sucess. With warmest wishes, Valerie. 27.04.10.

"Considerably more helpful than at many other places I have stayed" Wedding 23.04.10: Hi, My sister had her wedding at your hotel last Friday, and I just wanted to drop you a quick email to say that the staff of the hotel couldn't have been nicer or more accomodating all weekend. I myself had a number of instances where your staff were considerably more helpful than at many other places I have stayed. Thank you for making it a wonderful weekend. Sincerely, Larry Crowley

“A Stunning Hotel in a Stunning location”
Apr 20, 2010 | Couple from London
Myself and my husband stayed in Dundrum House hotel for a friends Wedding, on our arrival we were met by very friendly staff who checked us in and showed us to our room which was in the Old house itself. The room was full of character and very comfortable. The food at the Wedding reception was fantastic, My Husband usually finds something to complain about but on this occassion he found that very difficult. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. All in all a great hotel in a fantastic location, we were very lucky to have nice weather and had time to have a walk around the grounds of the hotel, I'm just glad my husband didn't have his golf clubs with him other wise I would have been left on my own!!!! We would definately go there again and would reccommend the Hotel to anyone.

"Fantastic all round”
helbri Meath | Apr 13, 2010 | Family
We stayed in a house on the grounds of the hotel. House was very modern and the rooms were huge. The kids club was fantastic - 2 hours in the morning(including pool activities) and 3 hours in the evening. Food in the clubhouse was really reasonable and they catered for a number of fussy eaters. The house itself has lovely rooms with big fires, couches and complimentary newspapers. Do die for while your kids are entertained!! Staff were second to none and my husband assured me the golf course is fabulous and the pro is a gentleman!!

Hi, Just returned fom Dundrum House Hotel and really enjoyed our family break. The kids were spoiled and well looked after. We had a great time and very friendly staff and management, the manager even came to our House to sort our heat, and TV for us.  If only all Hotels were like this. Cant wait to go back. If only all Hotels were like this. . The food was lovely in both restaurants.

Sixteen of us played golf there last Saturday the 10th April, we stayed the night in the surrounding houses and had a great time. The course was lovely, the accommodation was very good, the meal was very enjoyable and the service was excellent especially from Margaret who made us all smile and added to the enjoyment of the evening.

“Ireland as it was”

Really enjoyed Dundrum House, I have to say that you must appriciate the historic property, this Hotel is elegant and charming, not a modern Irish now NAMA hotel. The service is truely Irish at its best and makes you feel proud again to be Irish. All the way from the management down everyone was so pleasent and charming irish accents all round. We really enjoyed ourselves and the kids were so well looked after. Now at last Ireland is back to where it should be. Not wanting to single anyone out but really have to mention the reception Girl Aoife or Eve, could not do enough for us.
