A fun and effective class. Using our Leisure Club Pool this low impact workout is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Aerobics is a form of physical exercise that combines rhythmic aerobic exercise with stretching & strength training routines. Stationed aerobic exercises in the form of circuits. Aerobic exercises include jumping jacks, skipping, sprints and much more….Come along and try it out!!!
Mixing all elements of fitness, within a class structure to music.
Step Aerobics helps burn calories and maintain weight. The amount of calories burned depends on the speed of movements, step height, & the length of exercise time. A great work out for a healthy heart and lungs!!
Pilates is a gentle but highly effective workout that concentrates on slow and measured movements for improving posture, flexibility and injury prevention. Our Pilates Classes are run by Chartered Physiotherapist Niamh Kennedy.
Indoor cycling, a fun intense fitness class that guarantees a sweat!! Spinning is an aerobic exercise that takes place on a specially designed stationary bicycle. During the class you vary your pace – sometimes pedalling as fast as you can, other times cranking up the tension and pedalling slowly from standing position. Spinning burns serious calories (about 450 in 45 minutes) and offers a great aerobic workout that makes your heart burn fast. Burn up to and over 750kcal in a typical class, with abdominal workout at the end.
Upper Body Fitness
This fitness class will tone and sculpt your upper body, a different station workout, similar to circuits, but with a twist!!!
Tests your boundaries of fitness levels, stamina and endurance…with a little step thrown in for good measure!!
